The first rink to complete saw Health four Lee Mains, Gemma Buckley, Paul Hargreaves and skip Dave Mains take a small 11-9 win. The second saw a tie between the two rinks skipped by David James and Don Harrison at 13-13. Therefore with just two shots in the game it was down to the final rink to decide the result. Taking two vital shots on their final end, Dawn Horrocks, Rose Sanderson, John Horrocks and Phil Aldridge sealed the game for Hill with their 15-12 win and the match 37-36.
